This great human and artistic gathering, this nomadic city built out of nothing each year since 25 years is also known as Black Rock City. Located at 1500 meters on the bottom of an empty lake, the 'playa' hosts the most incredible artistic creations in a desertic, almost lunar environment. As its founder Larry Harvey once said, 'trying to describe to someone what is Burning Man is as if you explained colors to a blind man.' 2010 was the year of Metropolis: inventing the ideal city was the challenge for the artists and participants.
